Naira continues appreciation against US dollar - DAILY POST
The naira continued appreciation against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday.
The Central Bank of Nigeria’s data showed that the Naira gained to N 1,466.65 per dollar on Thursday, up from N 1,470.62 traded on Wednesday.
This means that the country’s currency firmed up by N3.97 against the dollar on a day-to-day basis.
Meanwhile at the black market, the naira weakened by N3 to N1503 per dollar, down from N1500 in the period under review, a Bureau De Change operator in Wuse Zone 4, Abubakar Alhasan, told DAILY POST.
DAILY POST reports that the Naira strengthened against the dollar at the official market and remained stable at the parallel foreign exchange market on Wednesday.
