NAIROBI, Sept 11 (Reuters) – Kenya’s central bank will hold its next interest rate-setting meeting on October 7, the bank said on its website on Thursday.

At its last meeting in August, the bank lowered its benchmark lending rate by 25 basis points to 9.50%, saying there was room to ease monetary policy further as inflation remains well within target.
