ICYMI: Naira falls against dollars at official FX market - NIGERIAN TRIBUNE

The Nigerian naira has again depreciated against the United States (US) dollar, trading at N1,380.9329 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange (FX) window on Friday, June 26, 2026.

The data shared on the CBN’s official platform shows that the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,380.9329  per dollar and closed at N1,384.0000 per dollar.

The currency, which traded at an NFEM rate of N1,380.1079 on Thursday, June 25, 2026, has depreciated slightly by at least N0.825 after trading activities on Friday.

At the parallel market, the buying rate appreciated slightly by N1 while the selling rate appreciated by N5 when compared to the previous trading rate on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

According to AbokiFX, the Naira-to-dollar exchange rate at the black market on Friday, June 26, 2026, was N1,393 and N1,400 per dollar for the buying and selling rate, respectively.
