Pound lower ahead of Bank of England meeting - YAHOO FINANCE

The pound edged lower on Wednesday as investors awaited a series of central bank meetings, including the Bank of England's policy decision.
The US dollar index (DX-Y.NYB), which measures the currency against a basket of six major peers, rose 0.1% to 99.71.
The pound was down 0.2% against the dollar (GBPUSD=X), at $1.3327. It was a similar scenario versus the euro (GBPEUR=X), with the British currency retreating 0.1% to EUR1.1568.
